Retreat Bali

Begin each day with an energising vinyasa practice, followed by a nutritious brunch. In the afternoon, you’ll have time for yourself—time to design your day in a way that truly serves you. You may choose to explore Bali, enjoy some quiet “you-time” at the villa, or socialise with fellow guests. An afternoon snack will be served, and in the evening, we’ll close the day with a soothing yin practice and a light, delicious dinner.

All levels of practitioners are welcome.

This retreat offers you the opportunity to (re)connect with yourself, a new community of like-minded people, and the lush energy of Bali’s nature.

Basundari Retreat

Our private villa, nestled in the heart of the jungle and surrounded by rice fields, is just 10 minutes from the vibrant centre of Ubud. We will stay in a luxurious, modern, and peaceful retreat, complete with a swimming pool, yoga shala, sauna, ice bath, and inviting communal spaces.

Yoga

We will practice yoga in the morning (Vinyasa) and in the evening (Yin).
This is an all-level retreat—beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners are all welcome.

Food

Our kitchen team will prepare delicious, healthy vegetarian meals for us (brunch, afternoon snack, and dinner). Please feel free to bring your favourite drinks for the evenings.

Joëlle Sleebos’ heart sings for the transformative power of yoga, Ayurveda, and the sacred rituals that connect us with ourselves, each other, and Mother Earth. She especially loves the dynamic Vinyasa style as her asana practice. She is passionate about guiding others to explore the profound depths of their being and discover their own unique dharma, both on and off the mat.

She lives and works between Bali, South Africa, and Europe, and wherever she is, yoga helps her stay connected to herself and navigate life more gracefully. She is a highly experienced and passionate teacher and also leads the Radiantly Alive 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings.

With Joëlle, expect a deeply inward yet playful yoga experience.

Mark Seeto is dedicated to sharing the transformative benefits of yoga and Pilates with people from all walks of life. With a career spanning global program development and the nurturing of talented individuals, his work is rooted in connection, care, and a deep understanding of people. He is passionate about helping others step into discomfort and grow, whether through thoughtfully crafted classes, one-on-one sessions, or collaborative events.

His approach is genuine, patient, and grounded in strong emotional intelligence. Mark prioritises truly listening and fully dedicating himself to each individual’s journey.
