WITH KINO MACGREGOR & TIM FELDMANN
2027 | March 16 - April 4
Join Kino and Tim for an authentic practice experience on the beautiful island of Bali. Whether you are looking to simply practice Mysore style or fully immerse yourself in a dedicated course of study, there is a path for you. This offering is designed to meet you where you are, while gently inviting you deeper into the practice.
Students who join for all three weeks of morning Mysore practice and afternoon workshops will complete a 100-hour immersion, an opportunity to experience the transformative essence of daily practice, supported by sincere study, reflection, and community. For those with limited time, you are welcome to join us for a single week, two weeks, or for Mysore-style practice only, or perhaps only the afternoon workshops. We aim to allow for flexibility while still receiving the depth of the method.

An in-depth study of hands-on assists as a form of embodied communication, grounded in consent, healing, and anatomical understanding.Week Three — Pranayama, Meditation, and Subtle Practices
An exploration of the inner limbs of yoga, including breath regulation, meditative awareness, the philosophical basis and the subtle body as a field of perception.
Come practice, study, and reconnect in a setting that supports both inner work and shared experience.
Mysore-only options available
These are a budget-friendly opportunity if you prefer to focus on deepening your personal practice without the workshop and led class components.

March 16 - 21 | 9:00 - 16:00
“Just as music without proper pitch and rhythm will not give happiness, yogasana without the observance of vinyasa will not give health.” — Srivatsa Ramaswamy
In this immersive one-week journey, Tim Feldmann and Kino MacGregor will guide students through a thoughtful and systematic exploration of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. Throughout the week, participants will delve deeply into the foundational principles that shape and sustain the practice. Each day will unfold methodically, examining the structural framework of the Primary Series while refining the essential techniques that bring the sequence of asanas to life.
Through careful breakdowns, guided practice, and philosophical context rooted in the classical lineage of Ashtanga Yoga, students will learn how to approach vinyasa, Tristana, and the traditional method with both precision and depth.
Central to this immersion is the application of Tristana — the integrated discipline of breath, posture, and gaze. Students will learn how vinyasa (breath-linked movement), drishti (focused gaze), and bandha (energetic locks) work together to transform individual postures into a cohesive, meditative practice. These principles will be explored and applied within the fundamental poses of the series, helping practitioners cultivate stability, clarity, and internal awareness.
The program will also illuminate the intelligent architecture of the Primary Series, revealing how the sequence progressively prepares the body and mind for its gateway postures — key poses that represent important thresholds in strength, mobility, and energetic integration. By understanding this progression, practitioners will gain insight into how each posture supports the next, allowing the practice to unfold with greater intention and integrity.
This week-long immersion offers not only technical refinement but also an opportunity to reconnect with the deeper intelligence of the practice — where breath, movement, and awareness merge into a single, continuous flow.

March 23 - 28 | 9:00 - 16:00
Immerse yourself in an exploration of the Ashtanga Yoga method with Kino and Tim, two of the world’s leading yoga teachers. This powerful and transformative Assisting School is designed for both practitioners and teachers who wish to deepen their understanding of yoga, practice, alignment, and the art of hands-on guidance.
Over the course of these sessions, we will focus on the foundations of practice — asana, anatomy, technique, and alignment — for the majority of postures in the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series. Tim and Kino weave these technical elements together with philosophy, lineage, and lived experience so students can begin to see yoga not just as a physical practice, but as a genuine path of spiritual transformation.
Assisting in the traditional Ashtanga method is far more than correcting a posture. At its best, it becomes a healing art — an intimate space where body, mind, and spirit meet in yogic union. Through careful analysis of technique, tradition, and communication, you will discover how to give effective and respectful adjustments that honor both the student and the lineage.
While words and demonstration can inspire, the body often learns most deeply through touch. This course will help you develop your kinesthetic intelligence so that your hands speak the honest language of the body. You will learn how to maximize your effectiveness as a teacher and how to open yourself, as a student, to receive.
Together, we will explore what it means to hold space for another’s spiritual journey, to guide with humility, and to allow each student’s body to reveal its own wisdom.

These sessions are dedicated to the subtle practices that sustain and deepen a more internal understanding of the spiritual path of yoga — prāṇāyāma, chanting, meditation, and philosophical reflection. Together, we will explore the breath as a bridge to stillness, use sound and silence as tools for inner awakening, and engage with the philosophical roots of Ashtanga Yoga to reflect on its living, breathing function in our lives. These sessionswelcome everyone and may be taken individually or as a complete series.
Join the Prāṇāyāma Sessions and learn foundational yogic breathing techniques to calm and challenge the nervous system while deepening inner awareness. Immerse yourself in Yin & Meditation and experience a nourishing blend of stillness and softness to support rest, release, and contemplation. Dive into Chanting & Ashtanga Yoga Philosophy and explore sacred sound and the spiritual wisdom behind the practice through heart-to-heart discussion and guided chanting.

Their lives revolve around their shared spiritual practice in sunny Miami, where they enjoy beach walks and cultivating mangoes. Together, they bring a magical synergy to the yoga room, infusing their teaching with compassion, authenticity, and inspiration honed through over 20 years of disciplined personal practice.
Tim, originally from Denmark, holds an authorized Level 2 certification from K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois, and he has practiced yoga since 1994. His background as a successful international dancer and acclaimed choreographer informs his teaching, emphasizing anatomy, alignment, and technique. Tim's extensive studies in South India, guided by scholars like Vidwan Nagaraja Rao, Jayashree, Narasimha, and others, have deepened his understanding of Patañjali, Sankhya, and Vedanta.
Kino, on the other hand, discovered yoga at 19, embarked on a journey to India at 22, and crossed paths with her teachers, K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois. Since then, she has devoted herself to a daily sadhana of Vipassana meditation and Ashtanga Yoga, shaping her teaching around these two traditions. With a prominent presence in the yoga community, Kino is the founder of Omstars.com, an author of five books, a producer of the Yoga Inspiration podcast, and boasts a vast following on social media platforms, including over 1 million Instagram followers, 800,000 YouTube subscribers, and more across other channels.
