Treating fear with yoga techniques

It’s only natural - we all have fears. We need them - they make us more careful, protecting us from mistakes and injuries. Though fears can become problems when we blow them out of proportion, when we fail to judge our fear realistically, and when we worry about that which is not real imminent danger. We form habits out of fear; thought patterns in the mind that can be hard to change.

Yoga practice aims to get rid of suffering, including fear. For most yoga practitioners, this means learning to recognize and treat fears that otherwise would disturb your mind.

There are many techniques to deal with fears. In this workshop we'll focus on the tools provided by yoga, as we learn physical, mental and energetic exercises to assist in breaking those habitual patterns and responses.

Judit has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2009. It's her full time profession, passion and mission. Her main style is Vinyasa Flow. “I love how body, mind and spirit find harmony in the flow of the movements, the breath, and the undivided attention.” She also teachers Prenatal, Mom and Baby, Kids and Family, Hatha and Yin Yoga.

Judit believes people can learn best when they are in a safe and supportive environment and the teacher makes the learning process fun!
