The Knee & Yoga

Once upon a time there was a Knee who was hurting, and decided to go to a yoga class... :-) The story is a very common one: yoga practitioners, meditators, runners, and active people in general often experience pain, ailment, and short or long term injuries to the knee.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • how your knees work

  • how can you practice yoga without hurting your knee

  • how can you practice if your knee is already hurting

  • how can yoga help with sports and activities that put strain on your knee joint (running, ball games, skiing, etc)

  • the interaction between the knee and the adjacent joints: ankle and hip

  • how to apply an energy lock around your knee (Janu Bandha).

This workshop is for any level of yoga practitioners, people with knee injuries and yoga teachers.

About Judit

Judit has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2009. It's her full time profession, passion and mission. Her main style is Vinyasa Flow. “I love how body, mind and spirit find harmony in the flow of the movements, the breath, and the undivided attention.” She also teachers Prenatal, Mom and Baby, Kids and Family, Hatha and Yin Yoga.

Judit believes people can learn best when they are in a safe and supportive environment and the teacher makes the learning process fun!
