INTRODUCTION TO TYM (THAI YOGA MASSAGE)

Thai Yoga Massage has its roots in the ancient systems of Yoga, Buddhism, and Ayurveda. Called the “lazy man’s yoga” or Vinyasa massage, this meditative flow weaves together energy, intention, and mindful techniques to dissolve blockages and alleviate stress. It combines assisted stretching, acupressure, and compression to improve flexibility and balance the body’s energy. Thai Yoga Massage invites us to bring in the work from our personal yoga practice and encompass those around us through physical touch and energetic circuitry.

In this 16-hour training, we will explore the concept of Metta (loving-kindness) and how to translate it into touch, the importance of breath in assisting movement, and learn the fundamentals to begin to explore and share this beautiful practice with others.

No massage experience is needed, but if you are a LMT, this class will provide you will 16 CE’s.
