What is Ashtanga Vinyasa?

Why is the Traditional Mysore Class important for Ashtanga students?

Experience the unique practice of a Mysore class, which is the traditional method of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois's teaching in the Ashtanga Vinyasa style. This group setting class is offered in a personalized way, where the pace of your practice as you move through the postures is your own. In this immersion, you will be committed to practice 7 days intensively, with Ade assisting you. For any level of Ashtanga practitioner, you'll be supported as you practice from whatever stage you are in the Primary Series sequences. We'll also explore 2 Satsangs (discussions) of 120 minutes all together, to deepen your knowledge of Ashtanga Vinyasa philosophy and apply it to not only your practice, but also in your daily life.

Regular Price: $107 US

Since he began his Ashtanga practice in 2015, Ade learned this form of yoga in an intensive setting from the well-known Ashtanga Yogi, Sanna Kokkoen. Deepening his experience, he began to study from more Ashtanga Yoga teachers, including joining Sharath Jois in his workshops many times. Ade is passionate about the Ashtanga practice, as he dedicates himself to his own personal yoga journey, as well as sharing this magic with others as a lifetime journey to peacefulness. Ade's Ashtanga yoga practice continues under guidance of KPJAYI teacher Sharmila Desai in Ashtanga Yoga Morjim.
