WORKSHOP: ARM-BALANCES

Using Props & Wall

This is an introductory inversion/arm-balance workshop open to yogis at all levels, who are looking to understand more about the techniques and alignment of these postures. Change your perspective; turn your world upside down! The inverted postures of yoga are some of the most beneficial, yet intimidating of the asanas. You will practice and be guided in postures such as headstand, forearm stand, handstand, and more.

We'll breakdown the poses, use props (including the wall) in order to improve the subtle connections in your body, and you'll be able to ask questions. Build your confidence and understanding of inversions and arm-balances!

If you can do crow, you are ready for this workshop!

ABOUT JOELLE

Yogi, Traveller, Personal Trainer, Entrepreneur and Project Manager. Joëlle’s passion for health and well-being started 18 years as a group fitness instructor. She discovered yoga in 2007 in Australia. In the beginning, her yoga practice was just an additional form of exercise, but since 2010, when she also started teaching yoga, it became a lifestyle. Yoga gave her courage to her move away from the corporate world and work as a full-time Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer. Joëlle teaches yoga and organizes yoga retreats in Europe, South Africa and Bali. Her classes are fun, powerful and energetic. Joëlle has studied with Joey Miles (Purple Valley Ashtanga), Daniel Aaron (Radiantly Alive Vinyasa), and Dave Porter (The Yogalife Vinyasa).
