Restorative Yoga is a gentle style of yoga that makes use of props to fully support the body in order to promote relaxation and overall well-being.  This healing yoga practice helps to replenishes energy in the body, balances our busy lifestyles, releases long held tensions the body, and facilitates stillness and calm.

Learn about the benefits of Restorative Yoga on the body, mind and soul in the 30 hour training with Anne Wanda Tessier (E-RYT) at Radiantly Alive.  During this training you will learn a set of restorative poses, meditation, pranayama and gentle yoga stretches to incorporate in your restorative yoga classes as well as your personal practice.

Learn ways to fully support the body in restorative poses with the use of props, bolsters, straps and blankets and variations for each pose based on individual health conditions.  You will learn the benefits and contra-indications of each posture, the link of the spine to the nervous system and the health of the organs as well as experience various ways to elicit the relaxation response.
