    Located in beautiful, seaside Canggu, Samadi Bali offers yoga for every one, healthy home-made food and integrated treatments in a unique space dedicated to radical well-being and self-empowerment.

    Samadi offers an exceptional space, artistically and stylishly laid out. The surroundings are quaint and comfortable, designed for luxury living enclosed in a heavenly green lush environment.The views of the rice fields, adorn this living space and all its amenities.

    You’ll be in a quiet and peaceful area of Canggu, just minutes to Echo beach which is loaded with local and western restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

    Retreat FAQ

    • Do I need a visa?

      A free Tourist Visa is available for most countries on arrival at the airport in Bali. Immigration regulations in Bali are changing constantly. Please check with the Indonesian embassy in your home country at least 60 days prior to traveling to Indonesia.

      Please Note: If you decide to enter the country on a free, Visa on Arrival, please know this Visa is not renewable. You will be charged a 300,000 IDR fee for every day you overstay your Visa. You may also consider obtaining a 60 day Visa on Arrival ($35 USD) which is renewable after 30 days. If you obtain one of these, please consider, Radiantly Alive cannot assist you with the renewal and cannot guarantee you will have time during the training to go to Immigration for the renewal process.

    • What kind of arrival documents are needed?

      Your return flight tickets and a Passport with 6 months validity after the return date. Your passport should have at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps. Please check with the Indonesian embassy in your home country to confirm what is required.

    • Which airport do I fly into?

      There is only one airport in Bali: nternational Ngurah Rai Denpasar (DPS). The airport is approximately 1-1/2 hours from Ubud.

    • Is the transfer from the airport to the resort included in the price?

      Yes, transfers to and from the airport are included in the retreat price and will be arranged before your arrival.

    • Is it possible to stay extra nights before or after the retreat?

      Yes, it's possible, yet it depends on availability. For participants of our retreats, we have a special room rate. For room rates and availability, please contact us directly.

    • Is it ok for me to join the retreat by myself?

      For sure! From meeting new people during group classes to enjoying the freedom of time alone, there are many benefits to joining one of our retreats as a solo traveler. Single occupancy rooms are available for additional charge, contact us for more details.

    • I have never practiced yoga, can I join?

      Yes, beginners are welcome. Our retreats are suitable for practitioners of all levels and our teachers are experienced in working with students of all levels.

    • I’m not sure if I want to follow the itinerary each day, is that ok?

      Yes. The Itinerary is designed to maximise your experience during your stay. If you want to take time out to do your own thing, feel free.

    • Should I bring my yoga mat with me?

      We provide Yoga mats for each retreat, but feel free to bring along your own.

    • What's the weather like in Bali?

      Bali is approximately 8 degrees south of the equator. You can expect a tropical, warm and humid climate all year around with two distinctive seasons: Dry Season (March-October) and Rainy Season (November-February). The temperature is humid and generally 27-31 (77-88 F).

    • Do I need travel insurance?

      It may be worth being comprehensively insured to cover all costs and consequences of medical treatment, repatriation, damage/theft/loss of personal belongings, recovery of course fees and flights booked in the event of cancellation or early departure. That, of course, is entirely up to you.

    • What about medical care?

      In the case of minor illnesses or injuries, there are a few medical clinics in the local Ubud area and several international clinics closer to the airport. These clinics typically do not accept insurance (though you may be reimbursed through your insurance provider) and are relatively inexpensive. If situations require extreme medical emergency care, patients are evacuated to Singapore. Due to the significant cost of evacuation care, it is advisable to check this coverage is included in your medical plan.

      Important warning

      It shouldn’t need to be stated, though, due to the extreme nature of penalties in Indonesia we put an extra cautionary note. DO NOT bring any (even) “mild” drugs/narcotics (other than prescription) into the Country. Violators, even if they are not from Indonesia, are subject to life in a 3rd world prison and the death penalty, and the foreign governments can do very little about it: don’t take any risks.

    • What is the minimum and maximum amount of participants?

      There is a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 10.

    • What is the length and pace of yoga every day?

      On average, 1 hour 30 minutes in the morning and 1 hour 30 minutes in the afternoon.

    • What are the styles of Yoga practiced during this retreat?

      A combination of Vinyasa Yoga and other styles such as Yin, Restorative, and Tibetan Heart. Expect a more dynamic practice in the morning and a more meditative approach in the evening. For more details please read the Yoga program of this retreat.

    • Will I have free time?

      Yes, you will have free time.

    • How early should I arrive prior to the retreat?

      This is entirely up to you. If you are travelling long distances, you may want to allow some extra time to get settled in. Also, please consider your Visa restrictions (see Visa section).

    • I have never tried surfing before and I’m not sure I will like it, is it ok not to take surfing lessons if I don’t like them?

      The flexibility of this retreat will allow you to choose what works best for you. Whether you are experienced or have never tried surfing before our surf coaches provide safe, fun, rewarding surf lessons during the retreat.

    • We’d like to come as a couple, I would like to practice yoga and my boyfriend would like to enjoy surfing, is it fine that we choose what we like most?

      You and your partner can tailor the retreat to your individual interests! You’ll have an amazing time doing activities together and/or separately. The flexibility of this retreat will allow you to choose what works best for both of you. We can offer more challenging surf options and an alternative to two of the pamper sessions, please just let us know ahead of time.

    • What kind of food is served?

      During the retreat, healthy home-made vegetarian meals are served. There will be some some Indonesian meals and some western style meals. Non-vegetarian and vegan food is available upon request. *Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies and / or food intolerances so we can inform the chef and make sure you have variety to choose.
