Restorative Yoga is gentle style of yoga that makes use of props to fully support the body in order to promote relaxation and overall well-being. This healing yoga practice helps to replenish energy in the body, balance our busy lifestyles, release long-held tension the body, and facilitate stillness and calm.

Learn about the benefits of Restorative Yoga for the body, mind and soul in this 30-hour training with Anne Wanda Tessier (E-RYT) at Radiantly Alive.  During this training you will learn a set of Restorative poses, meditation, pranayama and gentle yoga stretches to incorporate in your Restorative yoga classes as well as your personal practice.

Learn ways to fully support the body in Restorative poses with the use of props, bolsters, straps and blankets and variations for each pose based on individual health conditions. You will learn the benefits and contraindications of each posture, the link of the spine to the nervous system, and the health of the organs, as well as experience various ways to elicit the relaxation response.

Through direct experience, practice teaching, and feedback, you leave this training with the ability to teach a Restorative yoga class, and the experience of how to incorporate this knowledge into your own practice.

At the end of the course, you will receive a 30-hour Restorative Yoga Training certificate of completion certified by Anne Wanda Tessier and Radiantly Alive. (Credited by the Yoga Alliance)
