Vibrant Living Yoga
Teacher Training and Intensive
200-hour Yoga Alliance certification with Daniel Aaron
May 20 – June 17, 2007
Ubud, Bali

Wake up! That's the message of the yoga teacher. Wake up to who we really are. We wake ourselves up first, we see the magnificence in those who come to us and we encourage them realize their true self.

I've dedicated my life to awakening. Awareness of our incredible potential for happiness, and the knowledge that we naturally encoded with everything we need to actualize it, has led me on amazing journeys in the fields of health and consciousness. Yoga has been at the center and continues to delight me as vehicle for guiding others.

Yoga has remained a steady friend and tool, and my education has gone far beyond asana. Using ancient scripture and philosophy in a contemporary context we employ the best tools possible to experience the essence of yoga.

Together we create the ultimate Yogic environment for learning and transformation: a community of unique individuals from around the World that supports one another in being who we can be. Every component and detail is top caliber, including the expertise of exceptional guest faculty, the natural beauty and heart of Bali, the abundant, simple luxury of Anahata Villas, the healthiest, tastiest organic living food nutrition, and so much more.

The Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training is suitable for any level of experience. Whether you are already teaching, about to begin or are newly acquainted with the benefits of yoga, waking up to who you really are not only frees you to live the life you always knew was possible, it also frees others. Just by being you. Deepening your skills, understanding, confidence and presence in this 'level one' teacher training enables you to reach people more effectively through your authentic experience of yoga. It provides you with a comprehensive yoga education and exceeds the requirements for Yoga Alliance's 200-hour certification. You will dive deeply into extraordinary living, yoga and teaching.

Vibrant Living Yoga emerges from my intention for students to accept themselves fully and challenge their 'perceived' limitations. Mixing education, experience, creativity and spontaneity, we create classes that are eclectic, fun and inspiring. I thrive in Ubud, Bali, and offer workshops and retreats around the world. I am most grateful to Sharon Gannon, David Life, Tim Miller, Rodney Yee, Byron Katie, Dharma Mittra, David Garrigues, Paul Lowe, Richard Freeman, Pattabi Jois, Eckhart Tolle, Rod Stryker, Kofi Busia and so many more phenomenal teachers.

“Daniel is a caring and dedicated yogi who has experienced the fullness of the teachings and brings that fullness to all those with whom he shares.” David Life, co-founder of Jivamukti Yoga, author, master teacher.
About Vibrant Living Yoga

As the saying goes 'the truth cannot be said.' It can, however, be heard. It's inherent in each of us. It's who we are. The essence of yoga is remembering who we are.

We create conditions where the truth might be heard through challenging asana (posture), vinyasa (breath and movement), spiritual insight, pranayama (breath exercise), meditation, music, and humor.

Vibrant Living Yoga guides you to experience yourself free of false limitations and the Training empowers you to assist others. Drawing on my extensive yoga practice and training (with dozens of modern masters), you will dive deeply into a spectrum of today's yogic styles, including Jivamukti, Iyengar, Astanga and more. Discover how you share yoga by learning what's come before you.

Pattabhi Jois at his home in Mysore, India, and became the first non-Indian to be taught the complete Ashtanga Yoga system of asanas and pranayama directly from Jois. David introduced K. Pattabhi Jois and Manju to America and the western world when he, along with Nancy Gilgoff, organized and sponsored their first visit to Encinitas, California, in 1975.

David is responsible for teaching the Ashtanga Yoga system to many of today's leading teachers and practitioners, including David Swenson, Doug Swenson, Danny Paradise, Bryan Kest, Jonny Kest, Tracy Rich, Chuck Miller, and Maty Ezraty.

Emil, deeply passionate about philosophy and especially its application in Yoga, practices and teaches Hatha-Yoga, using a method of merging physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation with discussions on liberating knowledge, to deepen a Yoga practice beyond the mere physical experience.

The many years of residency in Nepal and India have allowed Emil exceptional insight into the depth of Indian Civilization and its underlying currents.

Among his mentors and lineages from which he's distilled his method, through years of self-practice and experimentation: Prânâyâma and Kriyâ-Yoga in the tradition of the Bihar School; Iyengar, Ashtanga, and various Vinyasa asana styles; Professor Saraswati Prasad Ghimire; and much more (see Emil's 'With Gratitude' page).

Emil presently instructs teacher training programs in Australia, India, and Europe while the lands of India and Nepal remain his home.

What some Graduates say
about their experience:

"You are extraordinary! If you want to become aware of it, this is what you can do: Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training. Calling it a yoga teacher training wasn't really fair. It's been an education into all of life. For years I've been traveling around the world searching for something - finally now in Bali, with this 'training' I've found what I've been looking for - I've come home. Words may not have the power to express my gratitude, but nevertheless receive many thanks for what you have created for us." - Markus Gmachl, Travel Guide, Austria.

"A life changing experience on all levels. Physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. One of the best months spent in my entire life. The dedication, enthusiasm, knowledge, wisdom, experience, creativity, depth, provocation and love presented by Daniel is inspiring to be and stay on the yogic path for anyone of any yoga level anytime for any purpose." - Beate McLatchie, Yoga Teacher, Bali.

“The best thing I got from being here was not ‘yoga’ it was more about life, myself, expanding, letting go, deeper and deeper into ‘Yoga’. Thank you.” - Kaori Takada, Corporate Executive, Japan.

"The Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training has changed my life. The experience opened my eyes to the treasures in the world of yoga. Daniel takes you on a journey of self discovery through nourishing gourmet raw food, challenging your body in asana practice, meditation, studying ancient texts, listening to modern philosophers and building a personal practice. Guest faculty brought a depth of knowledge to the training with an incredibly high level of expertise. This is a teacher training for current teachers or people new to the path of yoga. A bonus is the magical setting of mystical Bali. I will be back for future courses." - Janet Carscadden, Physical Therapist, USA.

“Personally I came to this teacher training with few expectations but principally I was motivated by the desire for certification by Yoga Alliance. Wow I am so excited, sad, happy and everything. I have learnt so much about myself, I‘ve shifted things inside me that seem to have been wedged forever. I’m freer, more aware, have a greater sense of community and I now feel I can continue teaching yoga with more confidence and knowledge. I could write a novel on this experience. I’m also proud of myself because I got myself on the playing field and field of opportunity has provided for me once again. I loved it.” -Cameron Coutts, Entrepreneur, Australia

"It feels funny to even attempt putting words to what the Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training experience was to me; it's indescribable. In my journal I wrote: 'From the amazing family that was created, to the luscious food, the teachers who shared their passion with complete open hearts - shining in their unique color inspiring us to do the same, the incredible surroundings, the culture, mother nature, the resort, the yoga shala, the rivers, the mist that rises with the sun, the roosters' calls through morning meditation, tears, laughter, giggles, silence, embraces, comfort, support, breath, letting go, hip openers, the clean fresh air in the hills, the 'cantik' (beautiful) staff with beaming smiles, our unique languages, just as unique as each one of us is, and the feeling when we all sung together in one language: ahhhhh. And without the words it is ever so clear in feelings, in barriers of sensations we used to call pain or sadness, in the body, sweat, sighs of relief, challenges, breakthroughs, knowledge, wisdom, innocence, grace, surrender, heart, love!'
If I could give a gift to someone, I would be honored in giving the opportunity of being part of this amazing experience that we call Vibrantly Living Yoga Teacher Training." - Lisa Lawton, Holistic Therapist, Australia.
